WELCOME :

 

Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil, the founder father of Asia's first co-operative sugar factory at Pravaranagar in 1950, always believed that economic prosperity was not an end in itself. He realized that education was the key to all round development of the rural masses, and he fully convinced that the socioeconomic upliftment of the rural society was only possible with women's education With this idea pravara Rural Education Society established in 1964, Pravara Public School in the same year, Pravara Kanya Vidya Mandir (exclusively residential school of girls) in 1969 and Women's College of home-science was established in June 1997. 

The college is affiliated to Shrimati Nathibai Damodhar Thakercey Women's University, Mumbai. Presently many girls students are studying in this college out of which majority students are residing in hostel with social security and in atmosphere of conducive for studies. the emblem symbolizes the objective of the college.

The Bachelor of Computer Application College had it's origin in June 2000, to meet the demands of technology and advancement of information technology for the womens of rural area. These two faculties are under fluttering wings of the spirit of co-operative movement through sugar industry, which is symbolized by the shaking hands
