Genesis

          Towards a mission of social empowerment , the founder father Late Padamshri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe Patil established Asia’s first cooperative Sugar Factory at Pravaranagar in the year 1948 and the Pravara Rural Education Society in 1964 to strengthen the rural masses through education. Illustrious son of an illustrious father, Padmasbhushan awardee, Hon’ble Shri Balasaheb Vikhe Patil, Former minister, Govt. of India and  Chairman, Pravara Rural Education Society transformed dreams into realities through his abilities and pragmatic leadership. His worthy sons  have put in all persevearance to bring the most modern and state of art facilities in the village at the doorstep of rural Maharashtra and integrated all facilities to put Loni on the world map as a model of integrated rural development.

The Pravara Rural Education Society was awarded the Best Education Society award in the year 2003 by the Govt. of Maharashtra. To keep up with the Quality Development Programmes it was certified by ISO and given the ISO 9001-2008 status. Today, it is providing education from the very elementary to higher in a conducive environment giving the best to students and putting the best of results.
